Our Cardrona Eco Villas are perfect for your next family retreat. We offer 2 adjacent villas for rent, including one with a relaxing hot tub, ideal for larger groups such as 2-3 families or extended family gatherings. Our spacious accommodations provide ample room for everyone, whether you’re planning a ski adventure or summer hiking and biking. Centrally located between Queenstown and Wanaka, you’ll be perfectly situated for all your holiday adventures. Units can be booked separately.

The space

Plenty of room for 2-3 families to stay next-door to each other.

The Alpine Eco Villa (Spa) has four bedrooms, and sleeps 8 guests. The neighbouring Alpine Eco Villa, has 3 bedrooms, and sleeps 6 guests. The Villas can be booked together for large groups of up to 14 people, or individually as separate units. Each home also features a lockable shed, perfect for securely storing bikes or ski gear during your stay.

Guest access

Guests will be able to access both neighbouring villas, each fully self-contained, with their own indoor living, dining, cooking, sleeping and outdoor space. One of the homes has a Stoked wood-fired hot-tub, offering a serene outdoor experience for you to relax and unwind amongst the mountains. Please note that after filling up the hot-tub, it may take upwards of 2 hours to reach the perfect temperature. The soothing soak will be well worth the wait!

Other things to note

The usual consideration towards neighbours applies – quiet hours are between 10pm and 8am. Please be advised that onsite parties / gatherings / excessive noise / and fireworks are strictly prohibited at the properties.

Alpine Eco Villa – 3 Bedrooms, 4 Beds

Experience the beauty of the Cardrona region at the new Abodo Alpine Eco Villa. Located in Cardrona Village, the Eco Villa is perfect for a couples’ retreat, or family ski-trip. With close proximity to Cardrona Alpine Resort it is the perfect winter destination / all-season base for mountain-carting, horse treks, quad-bike tours, hiking & mountain-biking. A unique destination, located between Queenstown & Wanaka and only a 5-minute walk to the iconic Cardrona Hotel, your all-season alpine paradise awaits!

The space

The Eco Villa has plenty of interior and exterior space for the family to unwind, including a deck with outdoor dining, great for an evening BBQ. Secure storage for your bikes and skis. A great set-up for couples holidaying together also. This property offers all the comfort and amenities of home and is uniquely situated within walking distance of the Cardrona Hotel. The indoor layout is ideally configured with good separation between master bedroom / ensuite, and two more spacious bedrooms. This is the perfect mid-winter base or for enjoying year-round outdoor activities in the region!

Guests can access all areas on the property, including the shed (where ski gear and bikes can be safely stored).
